Introduction to its main functions

1) Being in charge of collecting information on inviting investments both from the country and abroad, negotiating with investors, as well as providing consultancy services about policy, environment and procedures of investment.

2) Being engaged in establishing the local policies on inviting investments and being in charge of giving publicity to regional investment-related favorable policies and intellectual property protection activities.

3) Being in charge of planning and modifying the projects of inviting investment, organizing and arranging such big events as investment invitation meetings as well as promotion and negotiation meetings.

4) Being in charge of optimizing the local investment environment, providing the investors with consultancy and throughout agent services including registration, tax, finance and statistics of domestic and foreign-funded enterprises.

5) Being in charge of statistics and policy implementation of the enterprises in the Park, and managing and safeguarding the E-government platform of the Park, handling the complaints by the enterprises.

6) Being in charge of providing intermediate and consultant services on law, accounting, financing, contract arbitration as well as foreign trade.

7) Being in charge of solving such problems of the enterprises as needs on cooperative partner, talent recruitment and children’ s education.

8) Helping the enterprises with projects modification and application for special funds, providing the enterprises with services on enterprise authentication agency, software enterprises and software products authentication, creativity funds consultancy, projects consultancy, enterprise management consultancy, technical information consultancy, technical contracts registration consultancy.

9) Helping the enterprises with application procedures on water, electricity, telecommunication, transport and infrastructure.

10) Fulfilling other work from the authority.

Intellectual Property Service Center of Zhongguancun Science Park in Shijingshan District

The center bears the responsibilities of implementing and executing national and Beijing municipal intellectual property-related guidelines, policies, laws and regulations; of establishing work plans related to intellectual property; of assisting Shijingshan Intellectual Property Bureau to give publicity to knowledge about intellectual property in the local district and with training programs, of being in charge of giving publicity to “Patent Law of the PRC” and other intellectual property-related laws and regulations; of organizing transformation of patented technology and promoting implementation and industrialization of regional patented technology; of working on enterprises patent pilot and regional intellectual property statistics; of handling complaints and caseload of intellectual property disputes and patent infringement, of establishing regional system on intellectual property protection and innovative system, as well as other work from the authority.
